Supporting British Bloodlines for over 25 YearsAt Gladwyn we have Border Collies for the pure love of the breed. We have enjoyed breeding occasional litters, showing our dogs in Conformation, Obedience, Herding, and sports like Scent Hurdle Relays and Flyball. Between
our own and co-owned imports Gladwyn boasts twelve breed champions,
four of which are home bred champions, as well as obedience and
herding titled Border Collies. The abilities, characteristics
and sheer beauty of this breed continue to amaze us as well as
those whom we have introduced to the breed, who have welcomed
Border Collies to their hearts.
Over the years Gladwyn has imported ten Border Collies from Great Britain. We especially appreciate the British bred lines.We have also been blessed by having good longevity in our dogs - averaging 15 years or more. We owe special thanks to Joyce Herie who handled nine of these Border Collies to their championships, and two of them to dual champion titles. |
