Frankie is currently enjoying retirement at 15 years of age. He has led a very active life - he has enjoyed obedience, herding, scent hurdle relays, therapy work, and film work. When I got Frankie as a puppy Border Collies were listed in the AKC miscellaneous class. It was a shame as he had such beautiful movement and conformation and loved to show himself. He was shown in Junior Showmanship, and at the age of 10 he was shown at our regional Border Collie Specialty and won Best Veteran Dog. Frankie is the type of dog who wants to do it all and never met a person, child, dog or cat that he didn’t like.
